Workshop Details
Note, due to COVID requirements, if you have been sick in the last 14 days or have been with anyone that has been sick or in quarantine for the last 14 days, please do not attend the workshop.
Face masks are not mandatory as this is an outdoor event. You are welcome to wear one if you wish.
Event is rain or shine.
Welcome to our half-day "Nature Photography 101" workshop at beautiful John Dean Provincial Park, North Saanich, BC.
This workshop is aiming at getting new photographers the skills they need to advance to the next level in their photographic journey.
During this workshop we will explore whatever naturally comes our way in nature. That being said, we will explore areas in nature photography such as:
* MACRO
* FOREST SCAPES
* LONG LENSES for LANDSCAPES
* INTENTIONAL CAMERA MOVEMENT (ICM's)
* STOCK and LIFESTYLE
* PRODUCT ILLUSTRATION
Both Matt & I have a wide range of skills so just about anything goes when it comes to nature photography and exploring John Dean Provincial Park.
Note, both Matt and myself are Nikon users (Matt uses a D850 and I use a Z7 as primary) but this workshop is helpful for any camera brand.
Please bring your CAMERA MANUAL if you are unsure where to change settings on your camera!
